Job Description – BI Architect (Tableau)

Position : BI Architect

Experience : 7 – 12 Years (with minimum 3–5 years as an Architect)

Location : Noida

Employment Type : Contract to Hire – One Year

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BI Architect with extensive hands-on experience in Tableau and large-scale data solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in designing and implementing business intelligence architectures, working with large and complex datasets, and enabling actionable insights for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement end-to-end BI architecture solutions using Tableau and related tools.
  • Define and manage data architecture, data integration, and reporting frameworks to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  • Architect, optimize, and manage large-scale databases for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather BI requirements and translate them into robust, scalable BI solutions .
  • Lead the adoption of best practices in BI design, data visualization, and governance .
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to BI developers and analysts.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reporting solutions.
  • Integrate BI systems with enterprise applications, ensuring smooth data flow and accessibility.
  • Evaluate emerging BI technologies and recommend enhancements to improve analytics capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7–12 years of overall BI experience , with at least 3–5 years in an Architect role .
  • Proven hands-on expertise in Tableau (Dashboard development, Server, Prep, Advanced Visualization).
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehouse design, and ETL processes .
  • Expertise in working with large-scale, complex databases (SQL, Oracle, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar).
  • Proficiency in SQL and performance optimization of queries.
  • Experience in BI governance, metadata management, and security frameworks .
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for BI and data solutions.
  • Experience with other BI / Analytics tools (Power BI, Qlik, etc.) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Python / R for advanced analytics and data processing.
  • Ability to work in agile environments and manage multiple priorities.
