Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our BSFL processing facility operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete bioconversion process, from organic waste input to high-value protein output, ensuring optimal production efficiency, quality standards, safety compliance, and environmental sustainability. This role requires expertise in biotechnology processes, manufacturing operations, and sustainable production methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

BSFL Production Management

Bioconversion Process Oversight :

• Manage the complete BSFL lifecycle from egg hatching to larval harvesting and processing
• Oversee breeding unit operations including adult fly mating, egg production, and larvae nursery management
• Monitor and optimize waste pre-processing operations including organic waste sorting, grinding, and formulation
• Ensure proper larvae feeding, growth monitoring, and harvesting at optimal developmental stages
• Supervise post-processing activities including larvae drying, protein extraction, and packaging
