GIS(Gas Insulated Substation) Installation Engineer

to join our team to support switchgear division and candidate should have good knowledge of GIS (Gas Insulated Substation) product

Job Responsibility : Responsible for carrying out GIS Installation worksShould be expertise in handling of installation tools & equipment’s related to switchgear productsConduct site installation work flow as per FQPExpertise in performing control cable termination works, GIS maintenance works & attend site complaints.Ensure the installation works are completed within a specific time period, agreed with customerReporting to immediate senior on daily basis and send site report as on requiredHandling of SF6 gas handling equipment and other tools which are required for GIS installation works and control cable termination worksAccessing the risk involved in site in achieving the target dates and mitigate the sameIf any non-conformity is noted reporting same to manager for resolution and ensuring works are not getting effectedMaintaining safety at site and conduct daily and weekly tool box meetingsPreparation of punch points or open points for achieving in milestone events and coordinate with site manager / Project manager to close them

Key Skills Required : Have minimum experience of 5 projects of installations done independentlyHave good practical experience of various tools for GIS installation worksExpertise in handling of SF6 gas arts and leak detectorsGood knowledge of all relevant standards, such as IEC standards, ISO 9001 : 2015, ISO / IEC 17025 and standards of safety

Qualification : Bachelor's degree in (Mechanical or Electrical) Engineering5+ year Experience in relevant field
