Job Title : Area Sales Manager
Location : Mumbai, Maharashtra
Reports To : Regional Sales Head
Job Purpose
Drive revenue growth and market competitiveness by leading the sales team, generating market intelligence, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership & Team Management
- Allocate and oversee daily tasks of sales executives.
- Mentor and train the team on sales procedures, negotiation tactics, and CRM usage.
- Revenue Generation & Order Management
- Identify new business opportunities and allocate leads via CRM every Saturday.
- Review inquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize orders.
- Authorize orders—ensure correct sales executive is assigned for delivery coordination.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Gather competitive intelligence and prepare weekly enquiry & quotation registers.
- Update task lists with dates and follow-up actions; retire cold quotations after three months.
- Customer & Debtor Follow-Up
- Conduct post-quotation follow-ups and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Call debtors regularly to manage receivables and reduce cost of sale.
