Core competencies, knowledge and experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in design and deployment of large computing and networking infrastructure with knowledge in :

oCISCO 9K, 7K, 2K, 1K, Catalyst 3x50

oCISCO ASA, Juniper FW

oCISCO HCS

oCISCO Unified Computing network components ( DCNM, Fabric Interconnect)

oISCO routers

oIP routing protocols : BGP, OSPF

oLoad balancers (desirable)

oSDN / NFV (desirable)

oCloud platforms (Amazon AWS, Google CPS, Microsoft Azzure) (desirable)

  • System administration expertise desirable : Windows Servers, RedHat Enterprise.
  • Significant experience in network designs and solutions for cloud computing applications and platforms.
  • Significant experience in router operating systems such as iOS.
  • Effective at communicating technical information both in detail to fellow engineers and also to summarise at a high-level and put into business / financial context for less technical senior managers
  • Ability to work to deadlines
