Embedded Systems Safety and Compliance Engineer

An Embedded Safety Engineer with 7–8 years of experience in Functional Safety (IEC 61508), who has hands-on experience with VectorCAST, Coverity, MISRA, SIL3 documentation, safety testing, and TÜV processes

7-8 years of experience in embedded SW development and SW safety assessment as per IEC61508

• Dynamic code analysis - Use of Vector CAST tool to do unit test and function call test for firmware.
• Generate unit testing report for TUV review.
• Prepare Software Detailed Design (SDD) specification and other software safety documents for SIL 3 certification.
• Code review for compliance with IEC 61508 coding guidelines
• MISRA C for C / C++)
• Static code analysis using Coverity
• Prepare Software Safety Requirements Specification (SSRS).
• Develop Software FMEA
• Exp. in Unit testing with coverage metrics, Integration and system testing
• Exp. in Fault injection and robustness testing as well as Regression testing
• Exp. in Qualification of compilers, static analyzers, and test tools (Coverity, VectorCast, Complier CCS, Compiler IAR)

Preferred : Prior experience working with TUV on SIL 3 certification
