Role Overview

The Director – Medical Coding will be responsible for overseeing large-scale coding operations, driving accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across teams, while ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage medical coding operations for a large team (700–800 members).
• Ensure coding accuracy, compliance, and productivity as per industry and client standards.
• Oversee transition and ramp-up of new projects.
• Maintain strong client relationships and handle escalations effectively.
• Collaborate with Quality, Training, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Drive continuous process improvement and operational excellence.
• Monitor performance metrics (quality, turnaround time, productivity).
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and career development for managers and team leads.
• Report performance updates and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
