Backend Systems Engineer

Job descriptionStrong experience with Python (Django / FastAPI / Flask preferred). Hands-on experience with Celery and Redis for background jobs and caching. Proficiency in PostgreSQL (database schema design, queries, optimization). Solid understanding of Node.Js and Express.Js for API development. Experience integrating multiple backend services and managing APIs. Familiarity with Git, CI / CD pipelines, and cloud deployment (AWS / GCP). Experience with Docker or containerized applications. Knowledge of message brokers (RabbitMQ / Kafka). Understanding of microservice architecture and system design. Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Sentry. Work with a passionate, fast-moving tech team. Exposure to modern backend stacks and scalable system design. A culture that values innovation, ownership, and continuous learning.
We’re looking for a skilled Backend Developer who loves building scalable, high-performance systems. You’ll work on designing and optimizing APIs, managing background tasks, and ensuring our backend architecture runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain backend services using Python, Node.Js, and Express.Js.
- Build and manage asynchronous task queues using Celery and Redis.
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
- Work with PostgreSQL for data modeling, query optimization, and database management.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and security through best practices and reviews.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and implement backend improvements.
