Role Description

We are seeking a Lead Engineer - Backend to join our founding team in a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. As the Lead Engineer - Backend, you will design, build, and maintain scalable APIs and backend systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead technical architecture decisions. You will also mentor team members, optimize system performance, and contribute to the development and deployment of cutting-edge features for our platform.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and database management (SQL / NoSQL)
• Strong knowledge of API design, system architecture, and distributed systems
• Proficiency in testing frameworks, debugging, and optimizing system performance
• Experience with scalability solutions and integrating third-party services is preferred
• Proactive problem-solving skills and experience working in collaborative environments
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
