Job Summary :
The Merchandiser will be responsible for coordinating between buyers, suppliers, and the production team to ensure timely execution of export orders, from sampling to final shipment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as the main point of contact between buyers and the company.
- Develop product samples according to buyer specifications and ensure timely approvals.
- Monitor fabric and trim sourcing, approvals, and inventory status.
- Prepare time-and-action (T&A) calendars and follow up with production teams to meet delivery deadlines.
- Handle order confirmation, costing, and price negotiations with buyers.
- Monitor quality standards at all stages and coordinate with quality teams.
- Track order progress and proactively resolve issues that may cause delays.
- Maintain documentation for buyers, shipping, and compliance.
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textiles, or related field.2–5 years of experience in garment merchandising / export.Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, and garment production processes.Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.Proficiency in ExcelPrevious experience in ERP systems is a plus.
