Job Overview And Responsibilities

The Technical Operations Reliability team ensures United operates safely and dependably by analyzing aircraft defects and operational disruptions. The team monitors trends to notify maintenance and engineering teams of emerging issues and probable corrective actions.

The Senior Engineer will aim to provide accurate information and useful insights to help multiple divisions make better data-driven decisions. They will be responsible for identifying root causes of key aircraft issues through reporting and analysis. The role includes both strategic and tactical responsibilities : long-term modifications to United's fleet and maintenance program, as well as day-to-day identification of recurring aircraft system failures.

• Providing accurate and useful data on time - identifying ATA codes for tech ops interruptions, identifying top system failures, etc.
• Tracking fleet trends and highlighting potential issues by performing operational drill-downs and using aircraft engineering expertise
• Supporting ongoing reliability / fleet initiatives and ad-hoc requests
• Recommending reliability, safety improvements through comprehensive analysis
• Creating and managing fleet and reliability dashboards
• Regulatory reporting and operational support

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
