Description : are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Lead / Senior SAP ABAP Consultant for an immediate contract opportunity in Hyderabad.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in both classic and modern ABAP development, including hands-on experience in a S / 4HANA environment.

This role requires extensive knowledge of RICEF objects, advanced enhancement techniques, integration tools, and proficiency in object-oriented programming.

Key Responsibilities :

Custom Development : Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of complex custom ABAP solutions across various SAP modules.
RICEF Expertise : Proficiently develop and maintain all RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms).
Data Modeling : Utilize the ABAP Data Dictionary (DDIC) to create and manage foundational data objects (tables, structures, views, search helps, etc.
Enhancements : Extensive experience with all standard Enhancement techniques including User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs (Classic and New), and BTEs (Business Transaction Events).
ABAP on HANA & CDS : Strong hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA, specifically designing and optimizing CDS Views (Core Data Services) for reporting and integration purposes. Must have at least one Implementation or Support Project experience on an ABAP HANA Environment.
Integration : Solid expertise in developing and supporting various Interfaces, including Web Services (SPROXY), IDOCs, ALE, and OData Services for integration with external systems and front-end applications.
OData Services : Proven ability to create, consume, and troubleshoot OData Services (via SEGW or CDS Annotations).
Modern ABAP : Expert-level knowledge and consistent application of ABAP 7.4 and above syntax (e., inline declarations, new OPEN SQL, table expressions).
OO ABAP : Must have extensive work experience in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP), applying SOLID principles and design patterns for robust, scalable solutions.
Workflow : Experience with SAP Workflow development, configuration, and troubleshooting (classic and / or Fiori-based).
Module Pool : Experience with Module Pool Programming (Dialog Programming) for developing custom transactions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum 8+ Years of dedicated SAP ABAP development experience.

Technical Depth : Expert-level proficiency in ABAP programming, DDIC, RICEF, and all major enhancement technologies.

HANA Proficiency : Demonstrated experience with performance tuning and optimizing code for the HANA database.

Integration Skills : Proven ability to handle complex integration scenarios using SAP standard tools (IDOC, Web Services, OData).

Programming Standards : Excellent understanding of coding best practices, secure programming, and performance considerations.

Functional Understanding : Ability to work effectively with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into efficient technical designs.

Immediate Availability : Must be able to join immediately upon selection.

Desired Skills (Added Advantage) :

Fiori / UI5 : Experience with Fiori Front End design and development principles, including consumption of OData services developed on the backend.

Gateway / Cloud Platform : Experience with SAP Gateway Hub and / or SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) services.

Contract Requirements :

Location : Hyderabad, India (On-site / Hybrid as per project requirement).

Notice Period : Immediate Joiners are mandatory.
