Job Description Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our
mission of transforming data into actionable insights and support multiple environments during off
business hours.
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to support business intelligence needs.
- Connect to various data sources using Direct Query and transform data for reporting purposes.
- Implement row-level security (RLS) to ensure appropriate data access.
- Write complex DAX queries for advanced calculations and data analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices and solutions for optimizing WMS functionalities.
- Strong understanding of inbound, outbound, and inventory management processes.
- Monitor and respond to IT incidents and service requests during on-call shifts.
- Document incident resolutions and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and operational procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
- Expert in writing and maintaining SQL
- Experience working with very large datasets and database tables.
- Data Modeling experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges.
Experience :
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Microsoft Power BI development.Experience with SQL for data validation and analysis.Experience with Data Bricks and Oracle warehouse.Experience with Power Automate is a must have.2+ years of experience creating Power BI Paginated reports.Familiarity with Power BI service features like workspaces, sharing, and permissions.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to participate in a weekly on-call rotation schedule.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Synapse Analytics.Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
