About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Application Engineer I to join our technology team. This entry-level role is designed for early-career professionals who want to gain experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting business applications. You will collaborate with senior engineers, IT staff, and business users to ensure that applications run smoothly and meet organizational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, configuration, and support of enterprise applications.
  • Write and maintain efficient, reliable, and secure code.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues reported by users.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate applications with existing systems.
  • Participate in testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Document technical processes and application configurations.
  • Stay current with software development and IT best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic knowledge of application development and software lifecycle concepts.
  • Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Understanding of databases (SQL / NoSQL) and version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Experience with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, or similar).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Exposure to Agile or ITIL methodologies.
  • Internship or academic project experience in software / application development.
