Job Title - Assistant Manager Domestic Supply Chain
Working days and timings - 9.30 am to 6.30 pm (2nd & 4th Saturday off)
Location - Ahemdabad HO
Experience : - 5-7 years
Qualification - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.
Key Responsibilities :
Our client is looking for a proactive and organized Assistant Manager - Domestic Supply Chain to support our end-to-end domestic supply chain operations. This role will work closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth procurement, timely reordering, and efficient inventory movement across our distribution network.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced D2C environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Domestic Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Assist in sourcing and managing domestic OEM vendors for baby products.
- Raise and track purchase orders and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Maintain supplier records and follow up for production timelines and dispatches.
- Inventory Planning & Reordering
- Monitor inventory levels and consumption trends.
- Assist in planning reorders to ensure stock availability and avoid stockouts.
- Coordinate with planning and sales teams to align procurement with demand.
- Warehouse & Dispatch Coordination
- Support warehouse operations, including inbound / outbound coordination and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure timely dispatch of goods from warehouse to last-mile delivery partners or distributors.
- Liaise with 3PL partners for daily operations and stock accuracy.
- Logistics Support
- Coordinate daily pickups and deliveries with courier and transport partners.
- Track shipments and resolve issues related to delays, damages, or returns.
- Maintain records of logistics performance and cost tracking.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Update ERP or inventory management systems regularly.
- Prepare basic procurement and logistics reports (e.g., PO status, delivery status, stock reports).
- Ensure accurate documentation for vendor payments, GRNs, and quality checks.
