Roles and Responsibilities
- Administer anaesthesia during surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Evaluate patients pre-operatively, review medical histories, and determine appropriate anaesthesia plans.
- Monitor patients during and after anaesthesia administration, ensuring vital signs are stable throughout procedures.
- Manage and respond to anaesthesia-related emergencies and complications efficiently.
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff to plan and deliver coordinated perioperative care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of anaesthesia records, drug usage, and patient monitoring.
- Adhere strictly to infection control, patient safety, and standard anaesthesia protocols.
- Supervise and mentor junior residents, interns, and anaesthesia technicians in clinical procedures.
- Participate in departmental audits, CMEs, and initiatives to improve quality and patient outcomes.
Desired Candidate Profile
MBBS with MD / DNB / Diploma in Anaesthesiology from a recognized institution.0 to 5 years of clinical experience in anaesthesia, preferably in a multi-specialty or tertiary care setup.Proficient in general anaesthesia, regional blocks, spinal / epidural techniques, and post-operative pain management.Certifications in BLS, ACLS (preferred).Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in high-pressure environments.Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.Skills Required
