About Dentalkart :

Dentalkart is Indias leading e-commerce platform for dental products, committed to transforming dental procurement with tech-driven solutions, fast delivery, and customer-centric service. We're scaling up, and technology is at the heart of our growth.

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Tech Team Lead who can take end-to-end ownership of Dentalkarts tech ecosystem - including our website (React), mobile app (React Native), backend (Node.js + SQL + Django), and AWS infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves managing development, mentoring team members, overseeing architecture, and ensuring performance, scalability, and uptime.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and mentor a team of frontend, backend, and mobile developers.
  • Oversee development and maintenance of Dentalkart's website and mobile app.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions.
  • Own the complete software development lifecycle - from planning to deployment and post-launch maintenance.
  • Ensure high code quality, security, scalability, and performance.
  • Manage CI / CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub Actions.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS EC2, S3, RDS, etc.
  • Troubleshoot critical production issues and deploy fixes rapidly.
  • Regularly review system architecture and suggest improvements.
  • Plan sprints and manage Jira task board for timely delivery.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Strong hands-on experience in JavaScript, Node.js, React, and React Native.
  • Proficiency in SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL) and familiarity with Django (Python).
  • Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and scalable backend systems.
  • Familiarity with Git-based workflows, CI / CD pipelines.
  • Proven ability to lead and scale engineering teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

    • Preferred :

  • Prior experience in e-commerce or high-traffic B2C platforms.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
