  • Around 8 years of domain and infrastructure experience.

  • Technical Skills : VMware Installation of ESX Servers, vCenter Server and vSphere Client and must have experience in upgrading the vSphere components.
  • Extensive knowledge in advanced features of ESX VMOTION, SVMOTION, HA, DRS, FT, EVC and affinity rules.
  • Must have experience in deploying in VMs using templates, clones and OVA or OVF.
  • Experience in P2V, V2V MIGRATION using VMware Converter and Provisioning VMs from templates and cloning.
  • Should have working experience on standard and distributed switches, configuring and troubleshooting virtual networks.
  • Should have working experience on disaster recovery plans such as SRM Site recovery manager, understanding array and vmware replications and should have worked on real or test DR recovery activities.
  • Health Check for VMs and ESX host
  • Present / Assign LUN to ESX host (Actually a storage admin task)
  • Identifying and upgrading hardware level firmwares and OS level drivers for the ESXi hosts.
  • Must have worked on update manager to perform driver and build upgrades.
  • Should have knowledge on VROPs for generating various reports for the VMware environment.
  • Knowledge in automating VM tasks and reporting tasks using scripts is preferred. WindowsActive Directory
  • Extensive knowledge in all facets of AD related tasks and activities, as well as with Domain Controllers
  • Administering a Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 r2 active directory domain using standard Microsoft snap ins such as Active Directory Users and Computers, Domains and Trusts, Sites and Services, Active Directory replication, and others as necessary.
  • Understanding of FSMO Roles
  • Creating objects in active directory
  • Managing share permissions
  • Delegating active directory object permissions (e.g., users, groups)
  • Managing groups and permissions
  • Microsoft Distributed File System
  • Microsoft Distributed File System Replication
  • Microsoft File / Print services
  • Experience managing Active Directory integrated DNS and DHCP solutions.
  • Creating and managing group policies and troubleshooting
  • Active Directory Migration experience
  • Improve AD processes and automate repetitive tasks wherever feasible.
  • Configuring and maintaining WSUS and / or SCCM server
  • Excellent writing skills with a proven background in writing documentation, presentations and policy Experience developing scripted solutions using Microsoft PowerShell.
