Leading Greenfield Renewable Energy Projects

• We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the origination, evaluation, acquisition, and development of greenfield renewable energy projects.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in identifying potential greenfield sites across Gujarat for solar, wind, hybrid, and storage projects.
• They will assess technical feasibility, resource potential, and grid connectivity, conduct due diligence on land, regulatory requirements, and environmental impact, and drive land acquisition strategy with government bodies, local authorities, and stakeholders.
• The selected candidate will ensure timely clear titles, land conversion, and statutory compliance, secure permits, licenses, and approvals at state and central levels, and maintain relationships with state nodal agencies, DISCOMs, SECI, and government authorities.
• They will also represent the company in policy discussions and regulatory forums, support business development in bidding processes, tariff structuring, and financial modeling, evaluate project economics, risks, and mitigation strategies, and work with finance & legal teams on contracts, PPAs, JV agreements, and MoUs.
• In addition, the successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams from inception to handover, mentor a high-performing project development team, comply with EHS standards, ESG commitments, and social responsibility norms, and proactively manage risks related to land, legal disputes, community issues, or regulatory changes.
