Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating comprehensive cyber security training programs for our students. This role requires a strong background in cyber security, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Curriculum Development : Develop and update course materials, including lesson plans, presentations, hands-on labs, and assessments, to ensure content is current and relevant to industry standards.
  • Instruction : Deliver engaging and effective classroom, online, and / or hybrid instruction on various cyber security topics, including but not limited to network security, ethical hacking, threat analysis, and incident response.
  • Student Support : Provide guidance and mentorship to students, assisting them with technical questions, career advice, and practical application of course content.
  • Assessment : Create and administer quizzes, exams, and practical assignments to evaluate student progress and knowledge retention.
  • Industry Engagement : Stay current with the latest developments in cyber security by attending industry conferences, participating in professional organizations, and maintaining relevant certifications.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with colleagues, industry partners, and advisory boards to ensure training programs meet the needs of employers and align with industry trends.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience : Minimum of [X] years of experience in cyber security, with a strong focus on practical application and industry best practices. Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
  • Certifications : Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are required.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in various cyber security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems (IDS / IPS), SIEM solutions, and penetration testing tools.
  • Soft Skills : Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with online and hybrid teaching methods.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Involvement in cyber security research or publications.
