Fully Remote

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Backend Lead Developer with 5–7 years of experience in architecting and developing scalable backend systems using the Microsoft .NET stack . You will lead backend development, guide junior developers, and work closely with product and DevOps teams to build high-performance APIs and data-driven services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend services and APIs using .NET Core / .NET 6+
  • Architect solutions with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams
  • Optimize and manage SQL Server or cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Implement RESTful APIs , asynchronous processing, and background services
  • Drive code reviews , mentoring, and best practices across the team
  • Ensure proper security, logging, and exception handling standards
  • Own CI / CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and deployment workflows
  • Stay current with evolving backend and cloud technologies

Skills and Experience

  • 5–7 years of professional experience in C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design , SOLID principles , and clean architecture
  • Strong experience with Entity Framework Core , LINQ , and SQL optimization
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
  • Hands-on with Microsoft SQL Server , PostgreSQL , or Azure SQL
  • Familiarity with Microservices architecture and Message Queues (e.g., Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ)
  • Exposure to Azure Cloud Services (App Services, Key Vault, Storage, etc.)
  • Knowledge of CI / CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks like xUnit / NUnit and mocking libraries
  • Comfortable with Git , Agile processes, and working in a fast-paced team

    • Good to Have

  • Experience with gRPC or GraphQL
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis)
  • Certifications in Microsoft Azure or .NET development
