Job Overview :
You will act as the key Systems Engineer to work closely with a sales representative in South India, managing enterprise account customers. Your main mission will be to support the sales organization in all technical matters regarding pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales.
Key Responsibilities :
Pre-Sales :
- Solution Pitches : Play an integral role in new business solution pitches, fostering long-term relationships to achieve enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet solutions and delivering meaningful results for all parties involved.
- Sales Qualification : Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
- RFP Compliance : Respond to RFP compliances, work on cross-references, and handle pre-bid meetings.
- Sales Calls : Be the main technical resource on sales calls, answering and educating the customer on issues ranging from product features, specifications, functionality, to integration.
- Networking Applications : Conversant with networking applications and solutions.
Post-Sales :
Technical Support : Be the lead technical contact for identified accounts, collaborating closely with the technical support escalation team and engineering to resolve customer technical issues.Escalation Management : Understand and follow the escalation process.Training : Provide sustainable training to channel partners on Fortinet solutions and competitive differentiation.Expertise Oversight : Provide technical expertise and oversight as required.Collaboration and Strategy :
Channel Management : Work in collaboration with Channel and Sales management to establish channel partners and qualify their ability to sell Fortinet solutions.Technical Configurations : Provide complex design and systems engineering configurations.Cybersecurity Knowledge : Maintain a high level of technical knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and the relevant industry.Solution Messaging : Utilize the Fortinet Sales Strategy and Solution Messaging to identify solutions for customer business objectives.Customer Documentation : Create and manage documentation for Proof of Concepts (POC).Technical Presentations and Content :
Presentation Support : Participate in the development and support of presentations for customers and partners.Value Proposition : Clearly articulate the technical aspects of Fortinet's value proposition to customers and partners.Content Creation : Contribute to the creation of case studies, white papers, and media articles for customers and / or partners.Team Collaboration :
Team Environment : Foster a collaborative, team-based environment by sharing best practices and building lasting relationships.Conflict Resolution : Effectively negotiate and pursue conflict resolution where required.Consultative Support : Lead strategic (organizational) opportunities and proactively provide consultative support to customers and internal teams.We Are Looking For :
Knowledge of Security Solutions : Experience with network, cloud, application, and endpoint security solutions such as SDWAN, NG Firewall, Application Delivery, SASE, Web Application Firewall, ZTNA, EDR / XDR, etc.NOC / SOC Solutions : Knowledge of NOC / SOC solutions such as SIEM, SOAR, etc.Mobile Core Solutions : Experience with mobile core-specific solutions such as GiFW, CGN, SecGW, etc.Security for Clouds : Experience with security solutions for Public and Private Clouds.Fortinet Product Knowledge : Knowledge of Fortinet Products / Solutions and their competition.POC Expertise : Ability to conduct POCs to demonstrate Fortinet solutions to customers.Travel Willingness : Willingness to travel across India (approx. 25% of the time).Communication Skills : Strong communication and presentation skills.Why Join Us :
