We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer (Backend Focussed) who thrives at the intersection of traditional development and modern no-code / low-code automation. You'll play a crucial role in building tools and automated workflows that empower our recruiting and people teams globally, combining your software engineering fundamentals with cutting-edge AI and automation platforms to solve real business problems at scale.

WHAT YOU LL DO?

Design and build scalable full-stack applications and tools to support recruiting and people operations across global teams

Create sophisticated automated workflows using no-code / low-code platforms to streamline processes and increase team efficiency

Architect and implement AI-powered solutions that address concrete business challenges and deliver measurable impact

Design robust system architectures, database schemas, and data workflows that scale with organizational growth

Collaborate with recruiting and people teams to understand pain points and translate them into technical solutions

Prototype rapidly using modern AI-assisted development tools to validate ideas and iterate quickly

Own projects end-to-end, from initial design through deployment and maintenance

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

1. Technical Experience

2-4 years of experience building both frontend and backend of scalable products

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, React, Node.js, and NoSQL databases (more specifically Supabase)

Hands-on experience with emerging AI-assisted coding and no-code / low-code platforms such as n8n, Make.com, Clay.com, Zapier, Gumloop, Windsurf, Cursor, Loveable, and Claude Code

2. Core Competencies

Strong fundamentals in system design, database schema design, workflow automation, and data architecture

Demonstrated ability to design and implement AI-powered solutions that solve tangible business problems

Systematic thinking with the capability to solve complex problems through intelligent automation

3. Working Style

Structured thought process with strong problem-solving skills

Thrives in an early-stage startup environment with ambiguity and rapid change

Self-starter who can work independently and take ownership of projects

You'll work directly with Deep Singh, Co-Founder of EffiFlo and former founder of Canada Mentors. Deep is a certified Clay Expert and recognized as an AI & Automation Wizard for Talent Acquisition. He is an alumnus of IIM Kozhikode and NSUT (Delhi University), and has held leadership roles at fast-growing startups including Ola (Unicorn) and Ritual (Series C) across India and North America.
