About the role

As a GNC / Control Systems Engineer, you will be required to wear many hats and adapt to a fast-paced work environment. Your primary responsibilities will be :

  • Study, define, and design the operational modes of ADCS in Simulink based on the requirements.
  • Develop models that allow for simulation execution across multiple environments, such as Software-in-the-loop (SIL), virtualized hardware, or real Hardware-in-the-loop.
  • Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
  • Validate the simulated results with HIL results or hardware setup responses.

Minimum Requirements

  • B.Tech. / B.E. in aerospace engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering with 2+ years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of control systems, MATLAB, Python, and / or C / C++.
  • Great control systems fundamentals : second-order system understanding, stability analysis, controller design, linear and non-linear systems, and modeling a conventional controller on a linear system.
  • Strong learners with a high appetite to learn new skills, languages, and tools.
  • Capable of identifying and solving complex problems with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Preferred Requirements

  • Master's, M. Tech, or PhD in aerospace engineering, computer science / software engineering, or an engineering discipline
  • Familiarity with system dynamics, PID control, and controller tuning.
  • Familiarity with Control theory and orbital mechanics.
  • Prior experience in satellite design or the space industry.
  • Familiarity with GNC algorithm unit testing and implementation in flight software.
  • Additional Requirements

  • This is an on-site position in Bangalore, Karnataka.
  • Willingness to work long hours and weekends.
