Lead QuickBooks Accountant - US Accounting

Job descriptionMinimum 4 years of accounting experience, including QuickBooks Online (mandatory). Prior experience in U.S. client accounting or outsourcing / KPO environment. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (mandatory). Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing processes. Excellent command over Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, analytical formulas). Exceptional attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to work under deadlines. Based in Kolkata and open to work from office full-time. CA, CPA, or equivalent qualification is a plus (not mandatory). Experience with U.S. GAAP and multi-entity bookkeeping. Familiarity with Xero, ADP, or other U.S. payroll / accounting tools . Opportunity to work with global clients and learn U.S. accounting best practices. About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with hands-on expertise in QuickBooks Online and prior experience managing U.S. accounting clients .
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing full-cycle bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end closing. You’ll collaborate closely with the U.S. finance team to maintain accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting for multiple clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations for assigned U.S. clients.
- Handle AP / AR, bank reconciliations, general ledger , and month-end closing .
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports .
- Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely deliverables.
- Support audits and assist in improving accounting processes and controls.
