Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) –based system focused on auditability, data integrity, and tamper-evident recordkeeping — without relying on traditional blockchain frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing full-stack engineering teams, collaborating with solution architects, and delivering secure, cryptographically verifiable data systems aligned with compliance and governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end delivery of the ledger-database platform using append-only, tamper-evident data models (DLT architecture).
- Coordinate with engineering, DevOps, and InfoSec teams to ensure timely, secure, and auditable releases.
- Translate solution architecture into detailed sprint plans with measurable deliverables and governance checkpoints.
- Enforce Maker–Checker and CAB-style release approvals in line with audit and compliance standards.
Architecture & Technical Governance
Oversee the design and implementation of :Append-only ledger event stores with cryptographic hash chaining and periodic Merkle checkpoints .Off-chain document storage (AWS S3 with AES-256-GCM encryption), maintaining only sha256 / sha512 digests on-ledger.Ledger event schemas (e.g., sample_created , certificate_issued , payment_settled ) ensuring data verifiability and non-repudiation.Ensure no raw PII is stored on-ledger — only salted hashes (HMAC-SHA256) or masked identifiers.Manage key lifecycle operations (creation, rotation, archival) using KMS / HSM , recording cryptographic fingerprints in governance logs.Security, Audit & Compliance
Guarantee immutability and tamper evidence through hash chaining and WORM storage policies.Establish daily Merkle root computation and optional external notarization anchoring .Maintain detailed audit trails for all configuration changes, validator versioning, and deployment bundles.Oversee governance events such as key rotations , CAB approvals , and validator updates .Integration & Data Management
Oversee off-chain encryption workflows and secure document retrieval processes.Ensure interoperability between payment systems (UPI / RTGS) and ledger-based audit anchoring.Collaborate with backend teams to maintain versioned stored procedures and validator logic .Verification & Validation Workflows
Define and oversee the certificate verification flow , including :File hash validation : sha256(file_bytes) vs. on-ledger digest.Signature verification using issuer’s public key.Hash chain and Merkle root integrity verification.Drive security testing , performance validation , and audit compliance across verification pipelines.Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in technical project delivery and engineering management , ideally within fintech, DLT, or audit-grade data systems .Strong knowledge of cryptographic primitives : SHA256, AES-GCM, ECDSA, Ed25519, Merkle Trees.Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, RDS, ECS, CloudWatch, IAM, KMS / HSM).Familiarity with Node.js, PostgreSQL, React.js, and Python environments.Proven experience in secure document storage , API governance , and append-only data systems .Working knowledge of CAB / Maker–Checker workflows and compliance-driven release governance .Excellent stakeholder management , technical documentation , and communication skills .Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with DLT or distributed consensus frameworks (non-blockchain).Familiarity with WORM policies and external notarization services.Knowledge of confidential computing , secure enclave signing , or PKI systems .Exposure to DevSecOps , continuous audit logging , or governance automation frameworks.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
