Job description

Sales and Marketing Management :

  • Responsible for sales and marketing of carbon and special alloy steels across east and central zones.
  • Manage product portfolio including as-rolled wire rods, annealed wire rods, rounds, RCS, spring steel flats, bright bars, and stainless steel flats.
  • Oversee sales operations in North India (Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Rajasthan) targeting Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers as well as OEMs such as Maruti, Honda, TATA, Kia, and Hyundai.

Business Development :

  • Lead business development initiatives including acquisition of new customers and new product development with existing customers.
  • Conduct negotiations and align customer needs with the current product offerings.
  • Track competition and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Strategic Planning and Forecasting :

  • Prepare and execute strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve business targets.
  • Ensure stock availability and coordinate with production and planning teams to meet delivery schedules.
  • Customer Relationship Management :

  • Manage customer relationships and communications across various internal functions.
  • Monitor and manage customer credit limits and negotiate secure payment terms.
  • Arrange technical offers, prepare proposals, pricing, and lead negotiations with customers.
  • Financial Management :

  • Prepare annual and monthly sales budgets and review credit / debit memos regularly.
  • Analyze market and competition performance to identify potential customers and opportunities.
