Data Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Data Specialist

with strong expertise in

SQL Development

and working knowledge of

SSRS and Python . The ideal candidate will have

5+ years of hands-on experience in SQL development

along with

1–2 years of experience in Python

for data analysis and automation. The role involves managing databases, building reports, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize

complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions

for efficient data management.

Build and maintain

SSRS reports, dashboards, and visualizations

to support business requirements.

Utilize

Python (1–2 years)

for data manipulation, analysis, and automation of reporting processes.

Conduct

ETL operations

and support data pipeline processes to ensure timely and accurate data flow.

Perform

database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting .

Ensure

data integrity, consistency, and security

across multiple systems.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Maintain proper

documentation

of queries, reports, and processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in

Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field .

5+ years of experience in SQL Development

(T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization).

Strong working knowledge of

SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) .

1–2 years of experience in Python

(Pandas, NumPy preferred) for scripting and data analysis.

Good understanding of

ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and database design .

Experience in

query performance tuning and debugging .

Exposure to BI tools like

Power BI or Tableau

is a plus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

: This role follows UK shift timings and is based in Ahmedabad. Candidates from other locations can apply, as remote and hybrid work options are available.
