Job Description : Job Summary :
- As a Senior RAN Development Architect, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of
- advanced Radio Access Network (RAN) solutions, including 4G, 5G, and Open RAN architectures.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define technical strategies, drive innovation,
- and ensure seamless integration of RAN components into the broader network ecosystem.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Architectural Leadership : Define and evolve the end-to-end RAN architecture, including gNodeB,
- CU / DU, and RIC components, ensuring alignment with 3GPP and O-RAN standards. - Solution
- Design & Development : Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance RAN
- software stacks (Layer 1-3), including MAC, RLC, PDCP, and SDAP. - Technology Strategy : Drive
- the adoption of cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, containers, CI / CD) in RAN
- deployments. - Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with product managers, system architects,
- and vendors to define requirements and deliver integrated solutions. - Performance Optimization :
- Conduct RAN performance analysis and implement optimization strategies including SON, RRM,
- and AI / ML-based enhancements. - Standards & Compliance : Contribute to industry forums (e.g.,
- O-RAN Alliance) and ensure compliance with global telecom standards.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - 10+years of experience in RAN development, including LTE and 5G NR. - Deep understanding of
3GPP protocols and O-RAN architecture. - Hands-on experience with RAN software development
(C / C++, Python, Golang). - Strong knowledge of networking protocols (SCTP, GTP, TCP / IP). -
Experience with virtualization and cloud-native platforms (OpenStack, Kubernetes). - Proven track
record in leading large-scale RAN projects.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with AI / ML in RAN optimization. - Contributions to open-source telecom projects. -Familiarity with SD-RAN and xApps / rApps development. - Active participation in standardization
bodies.
Soft Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities. -Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions
