Senior SAP ABAP & BTP / Ariba CIG Integration – Team Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP & BTP Technical Lead with strong expertise in Ariba CIG integration , SAP Cloud Platform (BTP), and end-to-end integration architecture. The ideal candidate will lead a technical team, drive solution design, deliver complex integrations, and provide guidance across SAP modules and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP / BTP developers and integration consultants.

Drive solution design, code quality, best practices, and technical governance.

Collaborate with functional, basis, and project management teams to deliver integration solutions.

SAP ABAP Expertise

Advanced knowledge of ABAP RICEF objects : Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.

Experience with OData services, CDS views, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, and performance tuning.

Strong understanding of S / 4HANA ABAP development.

SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)

Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services : CAPM, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Workflows, Event Mesh.

Expertise developing cloud applications using Node.js / Java (CAP Model).

Knowledge of security concepts (OAuth, JWT, role collections, destinations).

Ariba CIG Integration

Strong experience in Ariba – CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway) end-to-end integrations.

Expertise in setting up CIG projects, mapping, troubleshooting, and handling transactional flows (P2P, S2C).

Integration experience with SAP ECC / S4, Ariba Network, Guided Buying, and Supplier Management.

Integration & Architecture

Work on SAP CPI, IDOCs, EDI, SOAP / REST APIs, and middleware integrations.

Define integration landscape, design scalable and reusable solutions.

Troubleshoot integration failures and lead root-cause analysis.

Project & Delivery

Participate in requirement gathering, solution workshops, and technical estimations.

Ensure high-quality delivery across development cycles.

Support cutover activities, UAT, hypercare, and post-go-live troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

3+ years of hands-on SAP BTP / CPI development experience.

Strong experience in Ariba CIG integration with S / 4HANA or ECC.

Proven experience leading technical teams.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

SAP Certifications in ABAP, BTP, or Ariba.

Experience with SAP Integration Suite, Event-driven architecture, or API-first development.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
