Research And Development Specialist (Urgent)

Qualification

Min. qualification required : Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related field. Advanced degree preferred (From Tier 2 colleges).

Other desired qualifications : Prior Designing experience on ballistic solutions and a background knowledge of composite behavior during ballistic phenomenon.

Relevant Experience

Min. no. of years of relevant experience required : 4+ year of post qualification experience with at 2+ year of experience in ballistic composite development.

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using tools like MATLAB, Excel etc.
• Knowledge about textiles and its products.
• Basic knowledge of composite manufacturing process and testing methods / standards related to composite material evaluation.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards for ballistic testing.
• Familiarity with materials modelling and simulation tools.
• Strong project management and task prioritization skills.
• Ability to bridge user requirements with technical solutions.
