Responsibilities
- Timely Budget Preparation- Coordinate the preparation and review of the annual budget, ensuring alignment with the business unit's strategic objectives.
- Oversee the financial closing of books of accounts, ensuring compliance with Ind AS and GAAP, and manage the audit process effectively.
- Prepare and present monthly MIS review reports, providing actionable insights to the management.
- Develop and maintain monthly cash flow statements to ensure optimal liquidity management.
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance, identifying trends and suggesting corrective actions to enhance financial outcomes.
- Propose and implement improvements in the existing MIS format to facilitate better decision-making by the management.
- Prepare comprehensive board and management presentations, highlighting key financial metrics and strategic insights.
- Assist in the preparation of taxation data and support routine asset accounting activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial processes with operational goals.
- Accurate Financial Reporting-Deliver monthly and quarterly financial statements compliant with Ind AS / GAAP, including variance and performance analysis.
- Audit Completion- Manage internal and external audits efficiently, ensuring timely completion and minimal repeat observations
- Capex Audit and Controlling-Track and monitor capital expenditure vis-à-vis approved budgets to ensure optimal utilization, adherence to approval protocols, and timely capitalization.
- Cash Flow Optimization- Maintain healthy liquidity through accurate forecasting and prudent cash flow management, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience
Chartered Accountancy (CA) certification is mandatory.6-8 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, and reporting.Proven expertise in handling financial audits, tax compliance, and budgetary processes within a corporate or infrastructure-focused environment.Educational Background
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance is requiredDomain Expertise
In-depth knowledge of Ind AS and GAAP standards.Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and MIS reporting processes.Experience in analyzing business performance and implementing corrective financial strategiesDigital & Operational Tools
Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle for financial management.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau for MIS reporting.Skills Required
