Position Title : Senior Data Engineer

Position Purpose :

We are seeking a highly skilled and Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join our dynamic and growing data team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, cloud-native environment and is passionate about building scalable, efficient data solutions. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our BI Dashboards, with a strong focus on Microsoft Power BI, ThoughtSpot and other BI Reporting Solutions.

Roles & responsibilities :

• Design and develop scalable BI solutions using Power BI, ThoughtSpot and other reporting technologies.
• Build interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI to support financial reporting.
• Create and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop, DAX, and Power Query for efficient performance and usability.
• Manage Power BI Service environments, including workspace organization and access control.
• Manage row-level security and user access permissions within Power BI to ensure data confidentiality.
• Monitor and optimize report performance, including query tuning and efficient data loading strategies.
• Leverage ThoughtSpot to enable business users to perform self-service, ad-hoc analysis by querying data intuitively and generating quick insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies (Epics, Stories, Standups, Retrospectives).
• Document BI solutions using Confluence and provide training or support to end-users to maximize adoption and usage.
• Track and manage tasks using Jira.
• Self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to learn beyond formal training with a strong aptitude for delivering quality products.
• Ability to work with teams that are geographically distributed and work across different time zones
• Provide guidance to less experienced team members and / or resolve highly complex production problems.
