Senior Medical Strategy Manager

This role plays a vital part in driving the Viatris Global Medical Affairs department's success.

• Supports the development and execution of the medical strategy for assigned products, providing overall scientific and medical oversight within assigned therapeutic areas.
• Collaborates with senior leadership to assess potential new products, joint ventures, corporate partnerships, and due diligence activities.

We're looking for an expert who can work closely with the commercial team to build awareness of our products in the medical community and identify unmet medical needs. This individual will participate in medical symposia, publication media events, and other activities to help us better understand the market.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the review and approval of product promotional material and regulatory documents, ensuring they comply with corporate standards and industry regulations. They will also provide medical support for product planning, line extensions, new indications, formula changes, opinion leader development, and publication strategies for therapeutic area products.

This is a unique opportunity to develop close professional relationships with influential members, physicians, and researchers within the pertinent medical community. The successful candidate will foster the establishment and maintenance of external scientific advisors, assist in advocacy development, and remain informed about current developments within the medical and scientific communities.
