Job description

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in testing FinTech / Payments / Banking domain products . The role involves test planning, execution, and automation support to ensure high-quality and secure product releases.

Experience : 3–6 Years

Location : Bangalore (Onsite)

Employment Type : Full-Time

Key Responsibilities :

  • Understand product requirements and create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
  • Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and API testing.
  • Execute UI and API test scripts, identify bugs, and track them through closure.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to ensure overall product quality.
  • Support setting up automation test suites (UI / API) wherever applicable.
  • Validate workflows related to payments, settlements, and financial transactions.
  • Document test results and prepare test summary reports.
  • Follow QA best practices and contribute to process improvement.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 3–6 years of QA experience with mandatory exposure in FinTech / Banking / Payments / Wallets / Lending platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and test methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with :
  • API Testing tools – Postman, Swagger
  • UI Testing – Web & Mobile
  • Any Automation tool / framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium)
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.
  • Experience in testing microservices-based applications, REST APIs, and backend workflows.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum processes.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

    • Good to Have :

  • Basic performance testing (JMeter or similar).
  • Exposure to CI / CD pipelines and Git.
  • Understanding of compliance or regulatory testing (RBI, NPCI, PCI-DSS norms).
