We have a new urgent GCP Data Engineer opportunity open to support a migration initiative from Teradata to Cerebro (BigQuery). This role requires a hands-on developer who can collaborate closely with our data and reporting teams to ensure smooth repointing and validation of Power BI reports.Request Details : Title : GCP Data EngineerSeniority : Mid to Senior (5–10 years’ experience)Required Tech Stack : GCP – BigQuery, Cloud StorageDatabase / Tools : Teradata, SQL, Power BI (report connectivity)Start Date : ASAPSoft Skills : Fluent English to work directly on an international teamOverlap : Standard daily overlap with ESTWork Model : 100% RemotePackage : 23LPA - 27LPA(based on experience)Job Description : Support the migration of reporting data sources from Teradata to Cerebro (BigQuery) .Repoint and validate existing Power BI reports to new BigQuery data models.Design and develop new tables, views, and queries in BigQuery to support migrated reports.Conduct QA validation to ensure data accuracy and performance parity post-migration.Collaborate with the BI and infrastructure teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure seamless integration.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to query performance, permissions, or connectivity.Share Resume with Current, expected ctc and notice period.
