Position Title : Software Engineering Lead, Mobile Apps

Description :

We are looking for a Software Engineering Lead to contribute to the overall customer experience and maintenance of our Abercrombie and Hollister i OS and Android consumer apps. The Lead will help with the app lifecycle ensuring quality before delivery, as well as post launch support.

Responsibilities :

Independently write test cases, execute and log defects for both i OS and Android mobile app features

Functions as a member of our Agile team and participate in various sprint ceremonies

Ensures Engineering team delivers a quality product that meets the defined Acceptance Criteria

Review and update regression suite coverage on a regular basis based on new features

Collaborate closely with developers to get regression suite automated and implement CI / CD / CT practices

Work with development teams to plan, implement, and track end-to-end test activities

Work closely with BA / PM / Tech Leads / UX to validate requirements and ensure good customer experience

Identify test needs and test data setup

Quantify Size and impact of issue to determine backlog placement by leveraging observability and measurement tools

Review any production defects to determine test automation needs to prevent recurring issues

Qualifications :

6-9 years of overall experience

4+ years of experience in Mobile Native apps – i OS / Android development. Testing experience in both

Automation Experience using Espresso, Kotlin, Appium, Java

Retail Domain experience preferred

Experienced in feature testing, regression testing and API testing

Proficient in requirements and test management tools like JIRA, q Test, etc

Experience with triaging tools similar to : Splunk, Firebase, Dynatrace, Quantum metrics

Good verbal and written communication

Effective problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Good prioritization skills and timely delivery with quality

Experience with Charles / Proxyman network tracing toolsets

Experience with Android Studio and / or XCODE

Experience with Mobile Cloud test lab – Kobiton, Sauce Labs, AWS or similar is preferred (Any mobile test lab)
