EY GDS – Data and Analytics (D&A) – Senior AWS Engineer

As part of our EY-GDS D&A (Data and Analytics) team, we help our clients solve complex business challenges with the help of data and technology. We dive deep into data to extract the greatest value and discover opportunities in key business and functions like Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing and Auto, Supply Chain, and Finance.

The opportunity

We're looking for candidates with deep expertise in AWS cloud technologies and data-driven architectures, having a proven track record in designing and delivering large-scale solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading organization and contribute to a growing Cloud Infrastructure and Data Analytics team that powers business transformation with advanced data pipelines and serverless architectures.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-native solutions using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Lake Formation, Athena, Redshift, and RDS.
• Build scalable data lakes using S3 and Iceberg, ensuring secure and governed access to data for analytics and reporting
• Implement event-driven workflows using Lambda, SNS, and EventBridge (AWS EventHub) for automation and real-time processing
• Develop APIs and integrate services to support backend systems and client applications
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure using CloudWatch and Grafana dashboards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define best practices, ensure security compliance, and align with business objectives
• Automate deployments using CI / CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge-sharing across teams
