WordPress Developer (3–5 Years) : Location Pune

About the Role

We’re hiring a mid-level WordPress Developer to build high-performance websites and e-commerce experiences. You’ll own custom theme & plugin development , ACF -driven content models, and WooCommerce customizations—with clean, maintainable code and pixel-perfect UI from Figma .

Key Responsibilities Convert Figma designs into responsive, accessible WordPress themes (block editor + classic templates where needed).

Build and maintain custom plugins and ACF field groups (Flexible / Repeater), CPTs, taxonomies, and custom Gutenberg blocks.

Implement and extend WooCommerce (product types, checkout flows, payment / shipping integration, coupons, subscriptions).

Create reusable components, shortcodes, and hooks; write clean PHP, JavaScript / jQuery , HTML5, and SCSS / CSS.

Optimize performance (Core Web Vitals : LCP, CLS, TBT), caching (page / object / opcode), image / CDN strategy, and query tuning.

Ensure site security, backups, and updates; manage environments & releases (Git-based CI / CD).

Troubleshoot production issues, write documentation, and collaborate with designers / SEO / content teams.

Must-Have Skills WordPress core fundamentals, theme hierarchy, hooks / filters, WP-CLI.

Custom theme & plugin development (not just page builders).

Strong WooCommerce customization and template overrides.

ACF (Pro preferred), CPTs, custom taxonomies, REST API.

Frontend : JavaScript / jQuery , HTML5, CSS / SCSS, responsive layouts.

Version control with Git ; packaging and deploying using build tools (npm, webpack / Vite).

Performance & SEO basics (schema, meta, sitemaps, redirects).

Good-to-Have Gutenberg block development (React), Advanced Woo features (Subscriptions / Memberships).

Headless / decoupled WP (Next.js), API integrations (CRM, payment gateways, marketing tools).

Security hardening (WAF, auth, permissions), analytics / Tag Manager, multilingual setups (WPML / Polylang).

Hosting & DevOps familiarity (Nginx / Apache, PHP-FPM, MySQL, caching layers, Cloudflare).

Qualifications B.E. / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent practical experience.

3–5 years of hands-on WordPress + WooCommerce builds; 2+ production sites shipped end-to-end.
