We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Technical Manager to oversee and optimize regional operations in the building materials and construction solutions industry.
With 35+ active projects, this role is critical in driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and contractor capability building.
The ideal candidate will combine technical understanding with business acumen, ensuring that projects are executed seamlessly while contributing to market share growth, stakeholder engagement, and strategic differentiation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operational Leadership Manage and oversee 25+ ongoing projects across Chennai and nearby regions.
- Ensure efficient execution, adherence to timelines, and cost optimization.
- Build and implement SOPs to standardize project and contractor management processes.
- Stakeholder & Contractor Management Develop and mentor a network of 15+ contractors and project managers.
- Conduct structured training, certification programs, and workshops to enhance contractor skills.
- Strengthen customer trust through technical presentations, demonstrations, and on-site engagement.
- Business & Market Development Track evolving market trends and customer needs, identifying opportunities for differentiation.
- Partner with Sales, Key Accounts, and Strategy teams to drive business growth.
- Contribute to new product adoption and technical advocacy in the region.
- Strategic Contribution Act as a key partner to leadership by providing data-driven insights from field and market engagements.
- Influence decision-making by highlighting opportunities for market expansion and process innovation.
- Support organizational goals by ensuring technical excellence translates into business performance.
Qualifications & Experience Education :
B. / B.Tech , MBA / PGDM in Operations, Marketing, or Project Management preferred Experience : Project Execution, or Technical Sales / Operations, preferably in building materials, construction, or interiors industry.Skills & Competencies :
