Job Title : Technical Manager Java or Flutter / Insurance : Chennai : 15 to 25 Type : Overview :

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Manager with over 15 years of experience in IT, including strong expertise in Java or Flutter technologies, software development, and end-to-end project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in delivering complex, scalable web or mobile applications, particularly in the Insurance and Reinsurance domains, and should be capable of leading both technical and client-facing Responsibilities :

• Lead the technical delivery of Java or Flutter-based applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Manage the complete software development lifecycle planning, development, testing, UAT, and production support.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including UI / UX, Product Management, or QA to deliver robust solutions.
• Own and manage client interactions, including requirement analysis, demos, and technical reviews.
• Guide architectural decisions, technology choices, and best practices across Java (Spring Boot, REST APIs) or Flutter (Dart) platforms.
• Conduct code reviews, performance optimization, and security assessments.
• Drive agile delivery, mentor team members, and ensure delivery milestones are met.
• Provide hands-on support during critical technical challenges and act as a technical escalation point.
• Coordinate integrations with APIs, third-party tools, or enterprise systems.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in web or mobile development Skills :
• Strong development background in Java (Spring Boot, Microservices) or Flutter (Dart).
• Experience building cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter or developing backend services in Java.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party service integration.
• Experience with state management (Bloc, Provider, GetX) in Flutter.
• Hands-on experience in database design (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
• Exposure to CI / CD pipelines, Git, or containerization tools like Docker.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies and cloud-based deployment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Excellent communication and client relationship management Qualifications :
• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working in product-based companies.
• Domain knowledge in Insurance or Reinsurance is highly desirable.
