About The Opportunity

At Ellucian, we deliver a broad portfolio of technology solutions that help Higher Education institutions to navigate change, achieve greater transparency, and drive efficiencies. We are looking for experienced Business Analysts / Functional consultants to join our Professional Services organization in India, build, integrate and maintain world class applications for customers using Ellucian's product portfolio and integration technologies. You will be an independent contributor working with other team members, reviewing requirements across multiple projects, planning, delivering functional consulting and testing services for Ellucian's Higher Education customers across the Americas, APAC and EMEA.

Where you will make an impact

• Conduct business process review and analysis of client business requirements. Gather and document business requirements, engage with clients, advising on the adoption of industry-wide practice, and brief the implementation team on requirements.
• Provide advisory as well as hands-on consulting services to implement Ellucian technologies and solutions, working with leadership and stakeholders in colleges and universities to ensure the solution is implemented & configured to address institutional academic and administrative processes.
• Configuring Ellucian and Client systems in alignment with client needs and provide training in the use and upkeep of applications and technologies.
• Write and execute effective functional test plans and test cases. Document defects and track issue resolution.
• Enable customers to make a smooth transition from their existing systems, applications and processes to new tools and processes and where appropriate provide change management advice as appropriate.
• Participate in Ellucian company-wide cross-departmental initiatives as required. Take active role in identifying, communicating, and advancing internal process improvement suggestions / initiatives. As a consultant on the Ellucian team, ability to act as a role model for other consultants.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills with credibility and gravitas to influence senior client stakeholders.
