Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Pune. In this position, the accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, preparing financial statements, maintaining ledger entries, analyzing accounts, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with tax regulations, and supporting audits as required. The role also involves efficient handling of reconciliations, accounts payable / receivable, and financial data management, while liaising with relevant teams to ensure accurate and timely financial operations. Generate Sales Invoices, reconciliation of purchase invoices, bank account reconciliation, Contract signing

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and effective ledger management
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as Tally, Zoho, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
• Understanding of Direct and Indirect Taxation including Income Tax, GST, and VAT / CST compliance
• Skills in reconciliation, accounts payable / receivable management, and financial data analysis
• Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in a consulting or taxation firm is a plus
