Leading Steel Manufacturing Company in Uganda, Africa is looking for Structural Designer.

Job Description for Design Engineer :

Proficiency in Design 30 Days Paid annual leave yearly tools such as STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, Tekla and MBS for steel

structural analysis and design.

Strong understanding of industry codes and standards like BS, ASME related to Steel structure

engineering.

Develop detailed designs for steel and RCC structures, ensuring compliance with industry

standards and regulations.

Prepare design documentation, reports, and drawings for internal review and client

presentations.

Knowledge in steel structure fabrication and machines like plasma, beam welding machines

preferred.

Assist production and erection planning.

Prepare BOM for budgetary and quotation purpose.

Lead detailing team for smooth shop floor operation.

Design Engineer requirements :

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree Advantage.

5 to 8 years’ experience in PEB and Steel structure Design and Analysis.
