Job description

You Must Have :

Educational Qualifications :
B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
Technical Knowledge :
In-depth technical knowledge of C, C++, and exposure to firmware language programming.
Embedded software development knowledge.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle (DO-178C preferred).
Capable of Requirement development (High-level and Low-level software requirements).
Strong in oral and written communications.
Technical knowledge of I / O interfaces such as Ethernet, A429, RS-232, and A615A Data loading.
Possess analytical and debugging skills on real target hardware (hands-on experience is an advantage).

We Value :

Exposure to Key Concepts :

Exposure to Datalink / EGPWF concepts.

Demonstrated ability in software development for avionic systems and knowledge of DO-178B / C process.

Exposure to Multithreading / Multicore processing.

Tools & Platforms :

Exposure to requirement management tools such as DOORS.

Familiarity with configuration management tools such as CC / CQ, JIRA, Bitbucket, and GIT.

Exposure to real-time operating systems (RTOS).

Additional Knowledge :

Knowledge of configuration management tools like JIRA / Bitbucket (Atlassian Toolset).

Primary Responsibilities :

Global Team Collaboration :

Be part of a global team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex software functions within Honeywell Aerospace Electronic Solutions, specifically in CNS (Communication, Navigation, & Surveillance).

Software Development & Integration :

Main objective : Develop, test, and integrate robust, well-documented embedded software at both high and low levels that interacts directly with hardware.

Thought Leadership :

Demonstrate thought leadership in embedded software architecture, design, and development in line with FCI development.

Mentoring and Problem Solving :

Mentor junior members in the team and be seen as a problem solver.

Collaboration and Networking :

Actively collaborate and network with stakeholders for new technologies / ideas incubation and information sharing.

Competitive Intelligence and IP Creation :

Perform competitive intelligence and IP analysis.

Motivate the functional team in IP creation for the product in your area of expertise.

Technical Support :

Provide technical support for products, including field investigation, application support, and factory support.

Business Growth and Innovation :

Actively contribute to business growth and innovation.
