Position Summary
The Chief of Staff (COS) to the CEO will be a strategic enabler, and execution partner to the CEO. This role ensures that the CEO’s agenda is well-executed, time is well-leveraged, and strategic initiatives across the organization are well-aligned, tracked, and delivered. The COS acts as an integrator across business functions, a gatekeeper for priorities, and a catalyst for high-impact outcomes.
Key Strategic Execution Support -
- Translate the CEO’s vision into operational plans and priorities.
- Drive execution of strategic initiatives by coordinating with SLTs and project taskforce.
- Establish governance frameworks to track progress on key CEO-led agendas (e.g., growth initiatives, transformation projects, restructuring).
- Identify bottlenecks and intervene proactively to ensure momentum.
2. CEO Office Operations -
Manage the CEO’s schedule and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.Prepare briefing notes, pre-reads, and talking points for CEO meetings and external engagements.Serve as a filter and point of triage for requests to the CEO, prioritizing and reallocating as needed.Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in high-level communication and decisions.3. Cross-functional Coordination -
Act as liaison between CEO and SLTs, and external stakeholders.Run monthly leadership reviews and CEO staff meetings – drive pre-reads, agenda setting, and follow-ups.Ensure decision-making is well-informed and timely by synthesizing inputs from multiple departments.4. Problem Solving & Special Projects -
Lead high-priority, cross-functional projects on behalf of the CEO.Conduct internal analyses and benchmarking to support business decisions.Step in as project manager for initiatives where leadership bandwidth is low but strategic impact is high.5. Culture & Leadership Enablement -
Be a sounding board and confidential advisor to the CEO on people and culture issues.Help shape leadership norms, communication tone, and cultural rituals.Align leadership behavior with desired values and strategic direction.Ideal Candidate Profile

Education : MBA / Master’s (preferred) from Top B Schools only
Experience : 6–8 years in management
