Medical Oncologist

Key Responsibilities :

Clinical Responsibilities :

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with solid and hematologic malignancies.
• Design and manage comprehensive treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy.
• Monitor treatment responses, manage side effects, and adjust regimens as necessary.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including imaging, biopsies, and tumor markers.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, participating in tumor board discussions and collaborative decision-making.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, risks, and outcomes.
• Provide supportive and palliative care during all stages of cancer.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with oncology protocols and national guidelines.
• Maintain meticulous patient records, documentation, and follow-ups.
