The Fun Stuff You'll Be Doing

  • Focus on delivering automated tests in core technologies.
  • Create test documentation.
  • Define test scope for the tested area and identify the risk.
  • Define and improve the QA processes.
  • Provide support to other team members.
  • Lead and input into technical discussions.

Requirements

  • Should have minimum 6 years of previous commercial experience with manual and automation testing.
  • Should have minimum 3 yrs of experience in test automation.
  • Should have experience working with Cypress.io and / or Playwright.
  • Good knowledge of at least one JavaScript programming language.
  • Excellent understanding of the testing techniques, strong experience with manual testing and some experience in non-functional testing.
  • Knowledge of good practices in testing and the ability to use them in a practical way.
  • Have excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people with the ability to explain complicated technical concepts to non-technical people.
  • Should have experience in API testing using Postman.
  • Ability to mentor and guide more junior testers.
  • Hands-on experience with databases / advanced Excel is a big plus.
  • Experience working with large datasets or large customer base is a big plus.
  • Root cause analysis.
  • Test reporting.
  • Knowledge of CI / CD setup, SQL databases, monitoring services (e.g. Rollbar, New Relic), Test Design, Programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, Test Planning and QA Strategy.
  • Knowledge of Python, Java is an added advantage.
