About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Lead Power BI Developer with a strong background in Microsoft Power BI, Data Modelling, and Reporting. The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise working with Snowflake, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Microsoft Fabric, and will be responsible for delivering scalable and high-performing BI solutions. This role involves leading BI initiatives, collaborating with business stakeholders, and ensuring best practices across the reporting landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
  • Build optimized data models and write efficient DAX and Power Query transformations.
  • Connect and integrate Power BI with Snowflake, ADF, and Fabric to deliver robust reporting solutions.
  • Ensure high performance and scalability of BI solutions for enterprise-level data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver business-driven insights.
  • Establish and enforce data governance, security, and compliance practices in reporting.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and drive best practices in BI delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 8+ years of experience in Power BI development with strong focus on reporting and data modelling.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Power BI (DAX, Power Query, advanced visualization).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake as a data source for reporting.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data integration and pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and its integration with BI solutions.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL, and dimensional modelling (Star / Snowflake schema).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience in handling large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead BI projects, set technical direction, and ensure timely delivery.
