Role Overview :

We are looking for a Shopify Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong hands-on experience in Node.js and a passion for building world-class e-commerce experiences.

You will drive the technical direction of Shopify projects, mentor the development team, and deliver custom storefronts, headless commerce solutions, and enterprise integrations.

This is a key role where youll work directly with architects, designers, and business stakeholders to create impactful customer journeys for global brands.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as the Shopify SME for Softobizs e-commerce initiatives, owning technical solutions end-to-end.
• Build and customize Shopify themes, Liquid templates, and apps to deliver engaging storefronts.
• Develop Node.js / Express.js backends and APIs for seamless integration with ERP, CRM, OMS, and third-party systems.
• Implement headless commerce using Shopify Storefront API, GraphQL, Hydrogen / Remix, or React.js.
• Ensure code quality via Clean Architecture, reusable components, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with UX, design, and product teams to deliver responsive and scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to Softobizs e-commerce capability building.
